Making albums for others Many talented consultants are approached to make albums for others. The inevitable question is "How much do I charge?" There are many methods to tabulate your fees, here are a couple of suggestions. 1) Sell the supplies to the customer at regular retail price and then charge an hourly rate. 2) Pro-crafters use this formula: Cost of materials (generally purchased at wholesale) X 3 plus hourly labor = wholesale cost. Wholesale cost X 2 = retail pricing. Whichever method you choose, be sure to communicate very clearly with the client and make sure that you know what she wants and expects. A written contract is probably a good idea. Be sure you know if you are working on one-of-a-kind photos or photos that have negatives. Back to consultant resource web
