Creative Memories Creative Memories is the direct sales company that helped launch the scrapbooking craze. In 1998 they celebrated 10 years of doing business and their parent company, Webway has been around over 50 years. They have approximately 30,000 consultants in the US, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain and Australia. Their albums are the favorites of MANY creative scrapbookers and they are well respected.
My opinion is that Creative Memories is a great way to go if you need company support and do not want to make a large investment. Their rules prohibit using the Internet for business, purchasing a phone book ad until certain requirements are met, and advertising is severely restricted. However, CM has a great support system in place with their CM Listserve and training manual in addition to upline consultants and regular regional and national conventions. I would recommend CM for the person who wants an easy part time business to step into and is willing to follow all the rules without getting upset about them. |
